Looking back at my favorite backyard garden feature. The small koi pond in the zen garden # sits just off our back deck and it’s beyond amazing to sit out here and enjoy the soothing sounds of the water fall while watching the fish swim around. Last year was the first season we planted the pond up since moving here. I learned a lot about how the plants grew and created small ecosystems for the aquatic life. This year, I want to level it up a little more by planting more around the waterfall. May
