he was offered to host snl, Finn has been in the movie for snl and has always liked snl so of course he was gonna do it. he gets handed a script and has to act it. the same if you star in a movie and you for example have to play a homophobic character even though you are not. you'll just have to do it. remember, acting is not being yourself, you're acting like someone else! and I have to admit, some jokes like wills coming out scene, the demorgon and the max jokes were weird but why cancel Finn
